General Manager – Sports & Entertainment Venue
Swansea
£40K + £10K bonus potential
We're looking for an up-and-coming General Manager to take the lead at a popular, established sports and entertainment venue in Swansea that trades between 12 noon and 12 pm. With a strong following for live sport, a regular clientele and consistent walk-in trade, this is an exciting opportunity for a hands on commercially driven hospitality leader who will thrive owning the P + L for this sporting and entertainment venue.
Key responsibilities:
- Hands on, highly visible, running the venue at peak trading times.
- Drive revenue and SPH across drinks, food, activities, events and group bookings.
- Full P and L responsibility, meet GPs and labour budgets.
- Develop new business and maximise repeat bookings.
- Lead, motivate and develop your AM and front-line staff.
- Plan effectively for major sporting fixtures, peak trading, and corporate events.
- Maintain high standards across service, presentation, and guest experience.

- Previous Management experience in a high-volume wet -led hospitality environment.
- Strong commercial and sales experience, particularly around bookings and events.
- A proactive, solutions-focused approach and high standards.
- Can commit to working to 3 out of 4 Friday/Saturdays /month on a 5-day rota.
In addition to basic salary of up to £40k, there is a bonus scheme that pays out quarterly with a first year OTE of 50K. The position offers 33 days holiday per annum and a stakeholder pension plan.
