We're looking for an exceptional General Manager to take the reins of one of Dorset's most distinctive hospitality destinations.

This is a vibrant, multi-faceted venue with several revenue streams, a strong events calendar, and an experience that keeps guests returning throughout the day and into the evening.

You'll have full ownership of the operation, leading an ambitious team, driving commercial performance, and shaping the next chapter of this truly unique business.

The Role

  • Lead, motivate, and develop the front and back of house teams.
  • Take ownership of sales, labour, stock, budgets, and overall profitability.
  • Maintain exceptional standards across food, drink, service, and events.
  • Drive local engagement, repeat business, and destination trade.
  • Oversee a varied calendar of events and high-volume trading periods.
  • Build a positive, energetic, and people-focused culture.

About You

  • An experienced General Manager from a high-quality restaurant, pub, or destination venue.
  • Commercially astute with strong P and L and cost-control experience.
  • Confident managing a diverse, fast-paced, all-day operation.
  • A natural host who enjoys being visible and engaging with guests.
  • Experienced in developing teams and creating memorable guest experiences.
  • Comfortable working in a rural destination environment.
