Smyth & Co is conducting a number of retained and exclusive General Manager searches for some of the very best restaurants in the world, spanning Europe, the United States and Asia.
Our clients include one, two and three Michelin-starred restaurants, with opportunities across exceptional dining concepts, including Japanese and French cuisine.
We are looking for accomplished restaurant leaders who combine warmth and presence with exacting standards, commercial judgement and the ability to inspire exceptional teams. People who understand that extraordinary hospitality comes from both meticulous detail and a deeply personal connection with guests.

To be considered, you must bring:
- Experience in a restaurant holding at least one Michelin star: this is essential.
- A proven record of leading restaurant teams and delivering outstanding guest experiences.
- Strong commercial understanding alongside a commitment to service excellence.
- The confidence, personality and discretion to represent a world-class restaurant.
We are particularly keen to hear from candidates with two or three Michelin-star experience, as well as those with a strong background in Japanese or French restaurants (but will consider any Michelin Cuisine).
