About Prentis

Prentis is turning enterprises into AI-native companies. We're an AI research lab building computer-use models that see the screen and run software the way people do, including the ERPs and legacy tools that have no API.

Our engineers don't hand off a model and walk away. They embed with client operators, rebuild the workflow, ship agents into production, and stay until the numbers hold. That work spans healthcare, logistics, trade, real estate, consumer products, and apparel, from adjudicating insurance claims to turning hours-long freight quotes into seconds.

We're hiring engineers and forward-deployed engineers who want to build alongside the people doing the work and see their code run on live volume, not in a demo.

About the role

You will open your country's market for Prentis. As the first hire in the country, you will find and sign the first customers, get the first deployments live, and build the local team as the business scales. You will work directly with the Prentis executive team, operate within a budget set by head office, and be paid substantially on the customers you bring in.

What you will do

  • Build a pipeline of successful, profitable companies in your country across any sector, prioritizing organizations where AI can deliver measurable operational gains quickly.
  • Own the sales cycle from first contact to signature: executive sponsorship, business case, commercial terms, and coordination with head office on scope and pricing.
  • Support the first deployments personally, working with Prentis's delivery and research teams to get customers live and referenceable.
  • Report directly to the Prentis C-suite, with a regular written and verbal update on pipeline, deployments, risks and local market developments, and take direction and feedback from those sessions.
  • Raise problems early and propose solutions. Head office expects to hear about commercial, regulatory, product, or competitive obstacles together with a recommended course of action.
  • Operate within the annual budget set by head office. You may propose revisions or an alternative budget for your country with supporting rationale; approval rests with head office.
  • Hire in line with scaling: add delivery, then commercial, capacity as customer volume grows, so the team stays sized to the business it supports.
  • Adapt Prentis's approach to local language, procurement practice and regulation, and feed customer and product requirements back to head office.
  • Set up local operating basics as needed (banking, suppliers, compliance) with support from Prentis finance and legal.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
