Company Description

Flip Out began in Australia in 2012 and has evolved from a trampoline park into a multi-activity adventure centre, now featuring inflatables that create a half-day indoor theme park experience. The brand has expanded internationally to over 85 centres worldwide, with 25 currently operating in the UK. Flip Out operates as a global franchise, with the UK Master Franchise actively partnering with operators who want to join a fun, fast-growing leisure brand. Staff are encouraged to be part of a supportive, energetic community focused on safe, memorable experiences for guests of all ages.

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site General Manager role based in Livingston. The General Manager is responsible for the overall performance of the park, including day-to-day operations, staff leadership, customer experience, health and safety compliance, and financial management.

  • Overseeing opening and closing procedures
  • Managing staffing levels and rotas
  • Coaching and supporting team leaders
  • Ensuring all activities run safely and efficiently
  • Monitoring budgets, controlling costs
  • Managing local marketing initiatives
  • Analysing performance metrics to drive revenue and profitability
  • Building strong relationships with guests
  • Handling escalated customer issues
  • Maintaining a clean, engaging environment that reflects Flip Out’s brand standards

Qualifications

  • Experience in general management within leisure, hospitality, retail, or a similar customer-focused environment.
  • Strong people management skills, including team leadership, coaching, performance management, and rota planning.
  • Proficiency in basic financial and commercial skills, such as budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and KPI tracking.
  • Customer service and communication skills to handle enquiries, resolve issues, and maintain positive guest relationships.
  • Health and safety awareness, with the ability to implement and monitor safety procedures in an active environment.
  • Ability to work on-site in Livingston with a flexible schedule, including weekends, school holidays, and peak trading times.
  • Organisational and problem-solving skills to manage multiple priorities and respond effectively to operational challenges.
  • Previous experience in franchise or multi-site environments is beneficial, as is experience in family entertainment or activity centres.
  • Relevant qualifications in business, management, leisure, or hospitality are an advantage, but equivalent experience is also valued.
  • Full weekend and School Holiday availability
