What you’ll be doing as a General Manager:

  • Developing, Leading and motivating the front-of-house team;
  • Responsible for recruiting, training, and retaining a high-performing team.
  • Provide ongoing coaching and support to ensure high levels of guest experience and team performance.
  • Ensure an exceptional guest experience by maintaining high venue and service standards.
  • Manage the daily operations, from overseeing stock control and ordering, to ensuring health and safety standards are exceeded.
  • Drive sales and profitability by monitoring budgets, optimizing costs, and implementing effective strategies.
  • Maintain excellent relationships with suppliers and the local community.

This role requires a hands-on approach to management, with the ability to lead from the front. 85% of your time will be spent front of house with the team and guests.

Must be able to work evenings, weekends, and bank holidays as required.

What we would like to see in our General Manager:

  • Proven experience in a people led senior management role within hospitality.
  • A natural leader who can motivate and develop teams of varying age and experience.
  • A hands-on manager with a keen eye for detail and a complete commitment to service and standard excellence.
  • Strong financial and business acumen with experience managing budgets and driving profitability.
  • A passion for local food, drink, and community engagement.
