Key job responsibilities

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support marketing initiatives, demonstrating project management skills in a competitive and dynamic business climate.
  • Assist with implementing the global brand strategy, adapting it to the local market to ensure relevance and impact.
  • Support the creation of effective content and marketing assets to engage customers and prospects.
  • Help run marketing campaigns and other growth initiatives, tracking performance and contributing to optimisation efforts.
  • Support the team in recommending and executing network improvements to enhance marketing effectiveness.
  • Contribute innovative, long-term solutions that benefit the entire team and drive lasting impact.

A day in the life

Every day is different as a General Marketing Manager Intern. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams on real marketing initiatives that help grow Amazon's brand and customer engagement. You might spend your morning adapting a global brand campaign for the local market and creating compelling content, then spend your afternoon analysing campaign performance data to recommend optimisations for an ongoing growth initiative. You will partner with experienced marketers, support the execution of network improvements, and bring fresh ideas to the table.

Opportunities:

Upon successful completion of the internship, you may be considered for a graduate role or a second internship, allowing you to continue your journey with Amazon. Additionally, you'll enjoy a competitive monthly salary, relocation support, and access to a range of employee benefits.

Internship Start Dates across the year:

We are hiring interns to start anytime from January through September 2027. Each month, we'll hold 1-2 onboarding days for new hires.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Currently has, or is in the process of obtaining, a Bachelor's degree or above in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • Speak, write, and read fluently in English at C1 level or above.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Excel at an advanced level, including: pivot tables, macros, index/match, vlookup, VBA, data links, etc.
  • Work 40 hours/week minimum and commit to 6 to 12 month internship maximum.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify process improvements and innovative solutions.
  • Understanding of digital marketing channels (such as email, digital display, SEO, PPC.) and tools (including email, web analytics, CRM, and marketing automation platforms).
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, able to collaborate effectively with others.
  • Demonstrated curiosity, proactivity, and willingness to take on challenges in an ambiguous, fast-paced environment.
