Full-time (37 Hours) – Permanent
Grade A2 - £27,274 - £29,071 per annum
North Kesteven District Council is seeking a highly motivated individual to join the Waste & Street Scene team. This post is based at the Council’s Metheringham Depot.
Job Requirements:
- C2 entitlement to drive a 12t vehicle occasionally, regular vehicle is 7.5t
- Experience of a range of manual work including lifting, transportation, the use of equipment, and powered tools.
- Experience of working outdoors in all weather conditions including some unpleasant/dirty aspects of work.

Key Responsibilities:
- To proactively deliver the Council’s General Labour Service.
- To deliver efficient and effective manual support to all divisions of the Council.
- To maintain successful relationships with internal and external customers.
Key Attributes:
- Team player
- Basic literacy and numeracy skills
- Experience of adhering to procedures including Health & Safety
- Willingness to learn.
- Requirement to work outside of normal hours when required.
Seasonal working
- Summer: Mon – Thurs 06:30 - 14:30; Fri 06:30 - 14:00
- Winter: Mon – Thurs 07:00 - 15:00; Fri 07:00 - 14:30
