Overview
General Operative – Injection Department
Location: Corby, UK
Pay: £13.45 per hour
Shift: AM (Monday to Thursday 6am to 2pm & Friday 6am to 11:30am)
Full-time, Permanent | 37.5 hours per week
Are you hands-on, detail-oriented, and looking for a role in manufacturing?
You will be responsible for the safe and efficient running of the machines, ensuring the parameters are set to the standard operating procedures. Carry out the duties associated with the manufacture, packing, and inspection of the Ceramic Core.
No prior experience? No problem. We offer full training to develop your skills in a high-volume, quality-driven production environment.
Responsibilities
What You’ll Do
- Operate Small, Medium, and Large injection moulding machines safely and correctly.
- Complete necessary worksheets in a timely and accurate manner.
- Ensure adherence to Standard Process Instructions, and Standard Operating Procedures.
- Maintain a clean, organised working environment.
- Adhere to Company regulations, rules, and procedures.
- Highlight any machine maintenance, matrix/reformers/tooling, and calibration concerns.
- Report issues or defects to maintain production quality.

Qualifications
What You’ll Bring
- Good understanding of written and verbal English.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work to high-quality standards.
- Ability to follow instructions and work in a team.
- Previous experience in a production or manufacturing environment (useful but not essential).
- Willingness to learn new processes and jobs.
