Role:
To ensure smooth operation of the manufacturing process and focus on achieving the highest levels of product quality whilst minimising waste.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure all machines are running efficiently to maximise the output.
- Ensure the manufactured product meets the required quality standard.
- Ensure all machines are in a safe condition to run and are locked off if not, and immediately reported to supervision.
- Check all products for defects.
- Ensure all products are correctly assembled.
- Ensure all product is correctly packaged, labelled, booked out and stored safely in the designated storage areas.
- Separate all waste products into the designated containers for recycling.
- Moving pallets with a pump truck into designated areas ready for loading.
- Ensure no contaminants enter the granulators (rubber, wood, steel)
- Achievement of production targets.
- Complete daily production sheets.
- Carry out cleaning duties to the best of your ability.
- Ensure a clean and safe working environment.

Requirements:
- Experience operating Injection moulding machinery would be an advantage, however full training is provided
- Working to tight deadlines.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Training in minor fault finding and rectification.
- Good numerical and literacy skills.
