General Operator - Double Days

Our client is a leading aerospace manufacturing organisation, supplying critical components and systems to the global aviation industry. With a strong focus on quality, innovation and safety, they are committed to delivering high-performance products that support aircraft operations worldwide.

We are currently seeking a General Operator to join the Corrugation Department. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with manufacturing experience and a keen eye for detail to become part of a highly skilled production team.

Join Our Team as a General Operator

  • Contract Type: 6 months
  • Hourly Rate: £19.67 per hour
  • Location: Wolverhampton
  • Working Pattern: Double Days with a shorter shift on Fridays:
    • Early Shift - Mon - Thurs 6 - 13.45 and Friday 6 - 12
    • Late Shift - Mon - Thurs 14.00 - 22.00 and Friday 12.15 - 17.15

Position Summary

As a General Operator, you will be instrumental in the manufacture and inspection of corrugation for heat exchangers. Your keen attention to detail and commitment to quality will help ensure the safety and satisfaction of our customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate corrugation machines efficiently and safely.
  • Utilise rollers and guillotine equipment with precision.
  • Measure accurately using micrometres, verniers, and height gauges.
  • Take on total productive maintenance responsibilities.
  • Adhere to health, safety, and environmental policies.
  • Be flexible and prepared to work shifts as needed.
