About the Role
As a General Operator at our Ferrero Halstead site, home to our Eat Natural products, you will play an important role in the day-to-day running of our production operations. You will be responsible for safely operating basic machinery, supporting production line activities, and helping ensure our products consistently meet Ferrero’s high quality standards. Working as part of a collaborative team, you will contribute to efficient production while always putting safety, quality, and care at the heart of what you do.
This is a permanent role working on either a fixed shift pattern of Mornings (6am–2pm) or Afternoons (2pm–10pm). Flexibility will be key to supporting changing production and operational demands. The shift pattern and operational requirements will be reviewed after 12 months to ensure the structure continues to best support production and business needs.

- Safely operate basic production machinery, including cutting machines, in line with standard operating procedures.
- Support the set-up, operation, and ongoing monitoring of production lines, carrying out basic visual quality checks.
- Follow all health, safety, and hygiene requirements while working closely with colleagues to achieve production targets.
About You
- You bring a positive, responsible approach to work and are comfortable operating in a manufacturing environment where safety, quality, and teamwork are essential.
- You are comfortable working in a fast-paced production or manufacturing environment and understand the importance of following procedures.
- You take health and safety seriously and pay close attention to quality and detail.
- You enjoy working as part of a team, are reliable, and are willing to learn and develop new skills.
