Salaried GP

Wirral
Permanent - 5 sessions per week
£10,700 to £12,000 per session, per annum DOE

The Role

  • 5 sessions per week / approximately 21 hours
  • Tuesday AM & PM
  • Wednesday AM or PM – flexible to discuss
  • Thursday AM & PM – Duty GP
  • 15-minute face-to-face appointments
  • Combination of pre-bookable, book-on-the-day and telephone appointments
  • E-consult and telephone triage
  • Protected home visits as Duty GP
  • Shared clinical, administrative and paperwork responsibilities
  • NHS and private work
  • Flexible start and finish times where possible

About the Practice

The practice is a long established GP surgery serving approximately 8,600 patients across the Wirral.

  • 2 Clinical Partners
  • 1 Business Partner
  • 4 Salaried GPs
  • 1 ANP
  • 2 Practice Nurses

  • 12 Admin staff

The practice is CQC rated Good across all areas, has high QOF achievement and is actively engaged with its local Neighbourhood PCN.

It is also a training practice, supporting doctors from Foundation Year 2 through to ST3.

About You

The practice is looking for a GP with:

  • MRCGP qualification
  • Current GMC and UK GP registration
  • Experience working within General Practice
  • Strong clinical knowledge across acute and chronic conditions
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • A compassionate and patient-focused approach
  • Good understanding of EMIS, Docman and PATCHS
  • Full clean driving licence
  • Access to a vehicle for home visits
  • Eligibility to work and practise in the UK
