Service Care Solutions Recruitment for General Practitioners (GPs)

Service Care Solutions are recruiting for General Practitioners (GPs) to support Primary Care Centres, Urgent Treatment Centres, and Same Day Urgent Care (SDUC) Centres within the Yorkshire Area.

Location: York and surrounding Areas

Shifts: Shifts available Monday - Sunday

Contract: Locum contract | ongoing | flexible hours

Pay: £75 - 80 LTD (Dependent on Service/shift worked)

Duties:

  • GPs must have gained their CCT within the past 12 months and have experience supporting Urgent Care Centres, A&Es, or Walk-in Centres.
  • GPs must have an active NHS Smartcard.
  • GPs must have experience working with SystmOne.
  • Conducting patient consultations, including physical examinations and history taking.
  • Diagnosing and managing both acute and chronic medical conditions.
  • Prescribing medications and managing repeat prescriptions.
  • Ordering, reviewing, and interpreting diagnostic tests and investigations.
  • Referring patients to appropriate secondary care or specialist services when required.
  • Promoting preventative care and providing health education to patients.
  • Managing long-term health conditions such as diabetes, asthma, and hypertension.
  • Maintaining comprehensive and accurate patient records using clinical systems (or SystmOne).
