CONTACT: Roberto Orlandi 01438 576093 | roberto.o@healthiipeople.com
The role
Long Term Locum GP position in Medway paying £650 per day.
We are looking for an experienced GP to work 2 to 3 days per week on a long term basis. You must be available every Thursday and Friday, plus either Monday or Tuesday.
Using EMIS Web, paid weekly and outside of IR35.
A very successful and well established GP surgery in Medway is looking for an experienced Locum GP to join the team on a long term basis. The practice is part of a larger, well run group and is known locally for being organised, supportive and sensible in how it looks after its clinicians.
This is a straightforward, well structured surgery with good systems in place. You will be on site using EMIS Web, supported by an experienced clinical and admin team who know what they are doing and do not expect you to fight fires all day.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
