Grey Gable Surgery are looking to recruit a 6 session salaried GP. We are a rural dispensing practice who value excellent patient care.

Role Description
This part-time on-site General Practitioner role is based at an NHS practice in Inkberrow, Worcester. The General Practitioner will provide primary care consultations, including assessing, diagnosing, and managing acute and chronic conditions for a diverse patient population. Daily responsibilities include:
- Conducting face-to-face appointments
- Reviewing test results
- Prescribing medications
- Coordinating referrals to specialist services
- Maintaining accurate clinical records in line with NHS standards

- Participating in clinical meetings
- Contributing to practice audits and quality improvement activities
- Supporting preventive health initiatives such as vaccinations and screening programs
- Collaborating closely with nurses, allied health professionals, and administrative staff to ensure timely, safe, and compassionate care
Qualifications
- Possess full medical qualification (e.g., MBBS or equivalent)
- Be registered with the General Medical Council (GMC), with a license to practise as a General Practitioner in the UK
- Possess strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills, with experience managing common acute and chronic conditions in a primary care setting
- Possess effective communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to build rapport with patients from diverse backgrounds and work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
- Possess sound prescribing knowledge, familiarity with NHS clinical guidelines, and commitment to evidence-based practice and patient safety
- Possess good organisational and time-management abilities, including accurate record-keeping, prioritisation of workload, and adherence to practice protocols
- Possess a commitment to continuous professional development, engagement with clinical audit and quality improvement, and openness to new models of care and technology
- Possess an understanding of safeguarding principles, confidentiality requirements, and relevant legal and ethical frameworks in UK healthcare
- Possess flexibility to work agreed part-time hours on-site in Inkberrow and readiness to adapt to changing service needs within the practice
