Job Introduction

We are currently recruiting for a General Sales Manager to join the management team at our Audi Dealership in Stratford-upon-Avon.

The hours of work are Monday to Saturday, with a day off in the week and working 1 in 4 Sundays.

Benefits include the use of a company car and an OTE of £85,000.

The successful individual will possess a positive, hands-on approach, with the ability to lead and motivate a developing sales team. You will be expected to achieve agreed sales targets for new and used cars, within defined operating and financial guidelines.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Build trust, communicate effectively, and exceed our customer’s expectations; ensuring their buying experience is industry leading.
  • Handle customer queries and complaints, ensuring they are resolved effectively.
  • Support the sales team in daily operations including customer contact, sales funnel management, deal building and closing, and professional vehicle preparation.
  • Drive the sales process and support the sales team in achieving their monthly KPIs for unit sales, profit per unit, finance penetration, and add-on products.
  • Accurate completion of all paperwork and providing reports on all sales activities ensuring accurate sales forecasts.
  • Ensure the sales team accurately and vigorously collect all customer contact and vehicle data in order to maximize the quality and content of the customer database (adhering to the Company’s FCA obligations).

About You

  • You may be an existing sales manager, sales controller, or retail manager looking for a new challenge or better career and reward opportunities.
  • You will have the drive and talent to push the department forward; working to achieve agreed KPIs and brand standards.
  • You must be able to demonstrate a profitable and successful track record of delivering outstanding results as well as delivering exceptional customer satisfaction.
  • In addition, you need to have strong management and leadership skills, a winning mentality, and a real passion for the brand.
  • Motor trade, automotive, or car dealership experience is preferred but not essential as full training will be provided.
