Responsibilities
As a General Service Assistant, your role involves front-of-house support within the Officers’ Mess:

Customer-facing duties:
- Taking food and beverage orders
- Serving customers efficiently
- Processing transactions (cash & card)
- Maintaining till operations and financial records

Grounds & operational support:
- Tilling duties
- Cleaning dining areas post-service
- Assisting in both front-of-house and back-of-house tasks
- Serving on food counters, including upselling products

Inventory management:
- Stocking and rotating/SOD (Sell-Out-Date) checks
- Spot cleaning to ensure kitchen & service areas remain tidy

Reporting to: Front of House Supervisor
Requirements
- Experience: Customer-facing/food service background is desirable (though full training provided on site)
- Age: Must be 18+
- Work eligibility:
- Legally permitted to work in the UK
- Resided in the UK for at least 3 years (security checks required)
- Transport: Reliable access (location lacks adequate public transport)
