Job Description
We are currently recruiting for a friendly and enthusiastic General Service Assistant to join our team at RAF Boulmer. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working within a busy kitchen and food service environment, supporting the culinary team and helping to deliver a high-quality dining experience.

What you'll be doing
- Assisting the kitchen team with food preparation and service
- Serving food and beverages to customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Supporting the smooth day-to-day operation of a busy kitchen environment
- Maintaining high standards of cleanliness throughout kitchen, dining, and food service areas
- Washing pots, pans, crockery, cutlery, and kitchen equipment
- Assisting with stock replenishment, deliveries, and storage of goods
- Supporting food production and preparation as directed by the chefs
- Following food safety, allergen, and health & safety procedures at all times
- Ensuring work areas are clean, organised, and ready for service
- Working as part of a team to provide excellent customer service and food provision

Qualifications
What we're looking for
- A positive and customer-focused attitude
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Reliable and flexible approach to work
- Good organisational skills and attention to detail
- Previous catering, hospitality, kitchen, or customer service experience is desirable but not essential
- Willingness to learn new skills and undertake training
- Commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness, safety, and customer service
Additional information
- Been resident in the UK for the past 3 years and have legal right to work
- The ability to pass full security vetting and DBS checks

Compensation: up to GBP 13.21 - hourly
