Location: HMP Parc, Bridgend, Heol Hopcyn John, Bridgend CF35 6AP Pay Rate: £13.30 per hour Contract type: Permanent, part-time, 30 hours per week (Sunday to Thursday) Shift times: between 7am–4pm—your evenings are yours!
You must have lived in the UK for the past 5 years, have the legal right to work, and be able to pass full security vetting and DBS checks.
Aramark UK is hiring a General Service Assistant to join our dedicated team at HMP Parc.
In this front-of-house role, you’ll be at the heart of our daily operations—serving food and drinks, operating tills, maintaining clean and welcoming dining areas, and supporting both front and back-of-house teams. You’ll deliver outstanding customer service and report directly to the on-site General Manager.

What you'll do:
- Serving food and beverages while ensuring top-tier customer service and compliance with health and safety standards.
- Operating tills, handling payments, and maintaining accurate financial records.
- Keeping dining and service areas clean and well-stocked, supporting both front and back-of-house operations.
- Upselling products and ensuring smooth service delivery.
What we're looking for:
- Previous experience in customer-facing or food service roles is a plus—but full training will be provided
- Eligibility to work in the UK, with residency for the past 5 years
- Ability to pass full security vetting and DBS checks
