Location: York Imphal Barracks, YO10 4HD Pay: £12.71/hour Hours: Permanent, part-time (18 hrs/week), Saturdays & Sundays Shift Timings: 07:30–17:30

What You’ll Do
As a General Service Assistant, your core responsibilities include:
- Serving food and beverages to customers
- Cleaning back-of-house areas, crockery, and cutlery
- Maintaining counter, equipment, preparation, and public Areas (tidy & hygienic)
- Performing basic cold food preparation and made-to-order services
- Restocking goods and ensuring merchandise is displayed appropriately
- Reporting feedback, complaints, stock needs, breakages, faults, or hazards to your manager
- Managing daily paperwork and record-keeping
- Adhering to food hygiene and safety procedures

What We’re Looking For
✅ A friendly, customer-focused attitude ✅ Previous food service/hospitality experience (welcome, not essential – full training provided) ✅ Aged 18+ ✅ Eligible to work in the UK with 3+ years’ UK residency (security clearance required) ✅ Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate (desirable – training provided) ✅ Basic numeracy skills ✅ Ability to work a variety of shifts, including weekends
