We’re hiring a Generalist Adviser or Trainee Generalist Adviser to join Citizens Advice Kensington and Chelsea.
This is an opportunity to support people across one of London’s most diverse boroughs, helping residents understand their rights, access support and take practical steps to resolve the challenges they are facing.
The successful applicant will provide advice across areas including housing, welfare benefits, debt, employment, immigration, and consumer rights. For those applying through the trainee route, we provide high-quality training, supervision, and support through the Adviser Learning Programme.

- Full-time, 37.5 hours per week
- Based in 37 Pembroke Road, London W8 6PW, with regular work at local drop-ins and outreach locations
- Generalist Adviser salary: £32,000–£35,000, depending on experience
- Trainee Adviser salary: £27,810
- 12-month contract, with possible renewal subject to funding
- Closing date: 9am, Monday 21 September 2026
