AI Engineer

Location: London (Hybrid)
Salary: £65,000 - £75,000 + benefits

The Role

We are working with a fast-growing technology scale-up in London that is investing heavily in its AI capabilities and building out a team focused on the practical application of Generative AI. They are looking for a hands-on AI Engineer to help design, build, and deploy production-grade AI solutions, with a particular focus on agentic AI, LLMs and intelligent automation.

You will work across a variety of projects, developing AI agents, RAG applications, internal tools and intelligent workflows using modern AI technologies. This is a strong opportunity for an engineer who wants genuine ownership and the chance to work with some of the latest developments in AI.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and deploy production-ready AI applications using LLMs
  • Develop agentic AI systems, including tool-calling and multi-step agent workflows
  • Build end-to-end RAG pipelines, including embeddings, retrieval and vector search
  • Work with frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, LlamaIndex or similar
  • Integrate LLMs and AI services into existing products, APIs and business workflows
  • Prototype and test new AI capabilities before taking successful solutions into production
  • Work closely with software, product and data teams to deliver scalable AI solutions
  • Contribute to the wider AI roadmap and identify opportunities to apply emerging AI technologies
  • Evaluate and continuously improve the performance, reliability and cost of AI systems

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
