About This Role
Are you an experienced Generator Engineer, Diesel Generator Engineer or Field Service Engineer looking for your next opportunity within Energy Solutions? As a Generator Engineer, you will service, maintain, diagnose and repair diesel generators and related hire equipment, while providing a customer focused service across a nationwide operation.
- Diagnose faults and carry out repairs and maintenance on diesel generators and related hire equipment.
- Plan and coordinate service, maintenance and repair visits.
- Support the development and capabilities of the field service team.
- Provide technical advice and assist with the preparation and operation of hire contracts.
- Keep accurate records of parts used, time spent and other required administration.
About You
You will bring practical experience across diesel engines, gearboxes, hydraulics, electrics and braking systems, along with the ability to communicate confidently with customers and colleagues. A full valid driving licence is required, while an Electrical Engineering qualification or equivalent is preferred, but if you do not meet every point, we still encourage you to apply if you have strong transferable experience and the right approach.

- Proven experience working with diesel engines and associated mechanical and electrical systems.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- A full valid driving licence.
- An Electrical Engineering qualification or equivalent is preferred.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing business needs.
