Job Overview

Are you a Generator Engineer with experience working on diesel or gas engines looking to join a market-leading power generation specialist, where you'll receive excellent training, attractive overtime rates and the opportunity to work on critical power generation equipment across Buckinghamshire?

This is an opportunity to join a leading international power generation specialist established in 1985. With over 200 employees, the business designs, manufactures, installs and maintains CHP, gas engine, biogas, landfill gas and battery storage systems that help industrial and public sector clients improve energy efficiency and reduce emissions.

Responsibilities

In this role, you will carry out planned and reactive maintenance on diesel and gas generators across the Milton Keynes area. You'll diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults, optimise generator performance and work closely with customers to maximise reliability and minimise downtime.

Requirements

This role would suit a Generator Engineer, Service Engineer or Maintenance Engineer with experience working on diesel engines, gas engines, generators or similar power generation equipment, looking to join a well-established business offering, overtime and long-term career progression.

The Role:

  • Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on diesel and gas generators
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults
  • Test, service and optimise generator performance
  • Complete service reports and liaise with customers

The Person:

  • Level 2+ engineering qualification
  • Strong knowledge of diesel or gas engines
  • Experience working on generators or similar equipment
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • Happy to work on a 24-hour callout rota
