The Opportunity
We are working with an established specialist in standby power, critical power and energy systems, with over 40 years' experience delivering generators, UPS systems and associated power infrastructure across the UK. They are looking for an experienced Generator Maintenance Engineer to join their growing technical team.
This is a field-based position where you'll be responsible for servicing, maintaining and repairing a range of generators, primarily within your allocated region but with UK-wide travel when required. The role would suit an experienced engineer who is time-served, technically strong and comfortable working independently in a customer-facing environment.
The Role
You will carry out routine servicing, remedial works and reactive breakdown repairs on generators ranging from 10kVA to 2MVA. You will also participate in an out-of-hours callout rota, responding to customer breakdowns when required.
Reasons to use Rodeo
I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
