Location: Leeds, with travel across Yorkshire
Package: up to £28,500, company van and company benefits

About Genex

With engineers across the UK, our Genex ethos is that no project is too large or too small for our team. We can assist with everything from regular pre-planned maintenance as part of your legionella risk control through to large pre-commission cleaning projects for data centres and hospitals.

We are proud of our reputation as specialists in water and air hygiene, legionella risk assessment, pre-com cleaning and flushing, commercial plumbing, ductwork cleaning, and UV-C air purification.

Genex is proudly part of Obsequio Group; our businesses all deliver expert safety and compliance services across the UK, supporting both public and private sector clients, solving complex compliance challenges for operators, developers, estates teams, and within facilities management.

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Water Hygiene Engineer / Legionella Risk Assessor to join our growing Water Compliance team.

This is a varied role combining routine water hygiene services with Legionella risk assessments across a diverse portfolio of commercial, industrial, and public sector properties.

Working independently, you'll support our clients in maintaining compliance with current legislation and industry guidance while delivering a high standard of customer service. The role offers an excellent opportunity for an experienced Water Hygiene Engineer looking to broaden their technical expertise, or for an established Risk Assessor seeking a varied operational role.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
