Overview
GEO Capability Lead
We are hiring a GEO Capability Lead to help shape how brands are discovered in the age of AI-powered search. This is an exciting opportunity to build and scale a market-leading Generative Engine Optimisation (GEO) capability, helping clients navigate the evolving world of AI search, answer engines, and large language models. Working at the intersection of search, content, data, commerce, PR, and technology, you'll play a pivotal role in turning emerging opportunities into practical, measurable client solutions. If you enjoy combining strategic thinking with capability building and commercial impact, this role offers the chance to make a visible difference across the business.
Responsibilities
What you'll be doing:
- Develop and evolve the GEO capability framework, including methodologies, playbooks, delivery standards, and practical guidance for teams.
- Translate developments in AI search, answer engines, and LLM visibility into clear recommendations that support client growth and performance.
- Design scalable approaches for GEO audits, opportunity assessments, strategy development, activation planning, and measurement.
- Lead training programmes, workshops, and knowledge-sharing sessions that build confidence and capability across teams.
- Support client teams with GEO recommendations, scopes of work, proposals, delivery plans, and strategic consultation.
- Partner with new business teams to contribute to pitches, growth opportunities, and proposals that showcase GEO expertise.
- Collaborate across search, content, PR, commerce, data, and technology disciplines to embed GEO into broader client strategies and agency offerings.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
