Geo-Environmental Engineer

Liverpool | Major Residential Development & Multidisciplinary Consultancy

£30,000 - £38,000 | Hybrid + Site

We're working with an award-winning multidisciplinary consultancy, to recruit a Geo-Environmental Engineer to join their growing Liverpool team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with around 1-4 years' experience looking to accelerate their career. For the first 6-9 months, you'll play a key role on a major 4,000-unit residential development in South Manchester, supervising ground investigation and site works before transitioning into a varied consultancy role supporting projects across the residential, commercial, industrial and education sectors.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Supervising ground investigation and site activities on a major residential development
  • Logging ground conditions and overseeing site works
  • Assisting with factual and interpretative reporting
  • Undertaking Phase 1 Desk Studies and Preliminary Risk Assessments
  • Supporting contaminated land and geotechnical assessments
  • Designing and managing ground investigations
  • Liaising with contractors, clients and project stakeholders
  • Working alongside civil, structural and transport planning teams

What You'll Bring

  • 1-4 years' experience within a geo-environmental, contaminated land or ground investigation consultancy
  • Degree in Geology, Engineering Geology, Environmental Science, Civil Engineering or a related discipline
  • Site investigation and reporting experience
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • A proactive approach and desire to develop professionally
  • Full UK driving licence preferred
