RSK Geosciences, an RSK Group company, are recruiting for an Environmental Consultant to join the team based in Derby, UK. This is a full-time, permanent position.
The Geosciences team delivers consultancy and design services to a wide range of external clients including engineers, house-builders, oil companies, and local authorities. Responsibilities
- Production of environmental management plans including Pollution Prevention and Surface Water Management Plans for construction sites
- Auditing construction sites for compliance with Surface Water Management Plans
- Advising clients on meeting UK regulatory requirements including the preparation of permits applications and exemptions
- Liaison with regulators including the Environment Agency/National Resources Wales
- Response/management of environmental incidents including, fuel/oil spillage, silt discharges, and effluent discharges

Qualifications And Experience
- This role is suited to someone with between 5 and 10 years minimum experience in the environmental sector.
- Able to deliver projects and work within a multi-disciplinary consultancy
- Able to work closely and confidently with clients and regulators
- A track record in managing time and resources effectively and within budget
- Full UK driving licence
