Geography Teacher - Wokingham

Are you a qualified Geography Teacher looking for an exciting opportunity within a secondary school in Wokingham?

Academics are working with a high-performing secondary school in Wokingham that is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Geography Teacher to join their team.

As a Geography Teacher, you will:

  • Plan and deliver engaging, challenging, and well-structured Geography lessons in line with the national curriculum.
  • Make geographical concepts accessible and engaging for students of different abilities.
  • Use a variety of teaching strategies and resources to inspire a love of Geography.
  • Assess students' understanding through classwork, homework, and formal assessments.
  • Provide constructive feedback to support students' academic progress.
  • Manage classroom behaviour effectively and create a positive, inclusive learning environment.

We are looking for a Geography Teacher who has:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • A strong subject knowledge and genuine passion for Geography.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to inspire, motivate, and engage students.
  • Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
  • Excellent organisation and time-management abilities.

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 3:30pm

Contract: Full-time
