The Role

Joining nxzen's rapidly expanding geospatial function means stepping into a leadership role at the forefront of digital transformation across critical infrastructure sectors. As a Senior Geospatial Solution Architect, you will own the end-to-end architecture and technical direction of complex, business-critical geospatial programmes, helping organisations unlock the full value of GIS, IoT, operational technology (OT), information technology (IT), and digital twin capabilities.

You will act as a trusted technical authority, shaping strategic roadmaps, defining enterprise-scale architectures, and ensuring the successful delivery of integrated solutions that align technology investments with measurable business outcomes. Alongside solution leadership, you will play a key role in growing nxzen's geospatial practice through innovation, capability development, mentoring, and support for business growth initiatives.

The role reports to the Geospatial Capability Director and will be responsible for:

  • Owning end-to-end geospatial solution architecture across complex transformation programmes.
  • Leading the integration of GIS, IoT, OT, IT, and digital platforms into cohesive enterprise solutions.
  • Establishing and governing architectural standards, design principles, and delivery assurance processes.
  • Engaging senior stakeholders, including executive leadership teams, to align solutions with strategic business objectives.
  • Supporting Sales and Business Development teams to shape opportunities, propositions, and technical bids.
  • Driving innovation, capability development, and technical excellence across the Geospatial practice.

Key Responsibilities

Solution Architecture & Technical Leadership:

  • Own solution architecture and technical direction across complex geospatial and digital transformation programmes.
  • Architect enterprise solutions leveraging the full ArcGIS system alongside integrated business, data, and operational platforms.
  • Ensure solutions are scalable, secure, supportable, and aligned to client business objectives.

Integrated Platform Design:

  • Lead the design of integrated GIS, IoT, OT, and enterprise technology solutions.
  • Define system interaction models, integration patterns, and data architectures across multiple platforms.
  • Ensure architectural alignment across applications, infrastructure, security, and data workstreams.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
