Job Description
Geospatial Surveyor- (Land Surveyor, Engineering Surveyor) – £30,000-£35,000 per year (depending on experience) + Benefits – Alfreton, DE55
The Role

We are looking for experienced Geospatial Surveyors who want to be part of a modern consultancy that values training, well-being, job fulfilment, and diversity. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to take pride in seeing your projects through from site work to final presentation and delivery. You will have the opportunity to become an important part of an evolving measured survey and spatial data consultancy.
Key Responsibilities
- Possess experience and skills to competently complete Topographical Surveys, Measured Building Surveys and other types of Engineering Surveys over several sectors.
- Use a variety of cutting-edge equipment and techniques to capture the appropriate information during the Surveys.
- Complete office-based survey delivery using a variety of survey and CAD software.
- Adhere to Terra Measurement survey data management, best practice and quality procedures.
- Plan and execute surveys in line with the client and manager’s requirements.
- Quality check work and clearly communicate any findings.
- Ensure all survey equipment is calibrated and maintained.
- Follow and contribute to method statements and risk assessments for surveys.
- Ensure there is a safe system of work in place for survey activities and that surveys comply with all 3rd party site Health and Safety and site arrangements.

The Person
- Surveying: minimum 3 years.
- Survey expertise in several sectors and types.
- UK Driving Licence.
- Competent use of various survey and data capture equipment.
- Competence in CAD and survey processing software.
- High quality and discipline with all surveying methods, data management and deliverables.
- Strong problem solving, self-management and people skills.
- Ability to work effectively alone and as part of a team.
- Freedom to travel over the whole UK with some overnight stays.
- Eligible and able to work in the UK.
