About the Role
We’re looking for a Geospatial Surveyor to support a major industrial project in the Southampton area. You’ll need a good understanding of traditional survey techniques, particularly traversing, levelling, and total station operation, to ensure accurate survey data is captured on site.

This is a 3-month FTC, and we are looking for candidates that can start immediately. As the role is based in Southampton, applicants must also be based in the area or willing to relocate.
What You'll Be Doing
- Carrying out high-accuracy traversing, levelling, and target observations using Leica equipment
- Operating NavVis VLX SLAM scanning systems to capture point cloud data in line with project workflows
- Checking the quality and accuracy of data captured on site
- Providing updates to project teams and completing site documentation and reports
- Working closely with client teams and other contractors on an operational industrial site
- Completing work safely in line with company and client health and safety requirements
- Supporting other survey activities as project needs develop

What We're Looking For
- At least two years’ surveying experience or a relevant qualification in Surveying, Geomatics, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline
- A good understanding of traversing, levelling, and total station use
- Experience using Leica surveying equipment
- Experience working on site in a construction, engineering, or industrial environment
- Confidence working independently and communicating with project teams and clients
- Strong organisation and practical problem-solving skills
- Experience with NavVis VLX or MLX systems would be highly desirable
- A full UK manual driving licence and CSCS card
