Geospatial Land Surveyor – Aeronautical Data & Aviation Projects

Location: Westcott, Buckinghamshire (office-based)
Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience
Employment: Full-time, permanent

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Land Surveyor to join our Aeronautical Data Department based at our Westcott offices in Buckinghamshire. This is a unique opportunity to work at the forefront of aviation surveying, supporting airport operators, aviation authorities, and international clients with the collection, processing, and management of high-accuracy aeronautical data.

Unlike traditional construction or development surveying roles, this position combines precision surveying, geospatial data management, and international aviation projects. The successful candidate will work on projects that directly support flight safety and the operation of airports worldwide.

The Role

The successful candidate will:

  • Undertake high-accuracy surveys at airports and aviation facilities in the UK and overseas.
  • Collect aeronautical survey data using GNSS, total stations, laser scanning, and other specialist equipment.
  • Survey runways, taxiways, navigation aids, obstacles, and airport infrastructure.
  • Process, validate, and quality-check survey information.
  • Prepare technical reports and deliverables for aviation clients.
  • Work closely with aeronautical data specialists, engineers, and aviation professionals.
  • Travel internationally to support client projects.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
