This environmental engineering consultancy, based near Oxford, is seeking an experienced Geotechnical Engineer looking for a new position in the ground investigation field. This is a great opportunity to work on a large variety of geo:environmental and geotechnical projects and will provide the resources and support to contribute to skills and develop your career.

About the Role

The Geotechnical Engineer selected will have a range of responsibilities. You'll be overseeing site investigations, completing factual and interpretive report writing, completing desktop studies, groundwater and gas monitoring, soil and rock logging, communicating with clients, and mentoring junior team members.

Requirements

To be considered for this Engineering Geologist position you should have:

  • A degree in a subject relevant to the position, for example geology, earth sciences, environmental engineering, or geoscience.
  • Experience in the geotechnical industry as an engineer or consultant is essential.
  • A Full UK Driving Licence, as travel to sites will be frequent.
  • A full right to work in the UK and live commutable to Oxford.
  • Good communication skills.
  • An ability to work within a team.
  • Be/working towards chartership.
