An established environmental and geotechnical consultancy is seeking an experienced Geotechnical Engineer to join its expanding ground investigation team near Stratford upon Avon. This Geotechnical Engineer opportunity offers involvement in a broad range of geo:environmental and geotechnical projects, with excellent technical support and clear career progression.

Key Responsibilities For The Geotechnical Engineer

  • Supervising site and ground investigation activities.
  • Preparing factual and interpretative reports.
  • Completing desk studies.
  • Monitoring groundwater and ground gas.
  • Logging soil and rock samples.
  • Communicating with clients and project teams.
  • Mentoring junior staff members.

Requirements For The Geotechnical Engineer

  • Degree in Geology, Earth Sciences, Environmental Engineering, Geoscience, or a related discipline.
  • Previous experience within the geotechnical or ground investigation sector.
  • Full UK driving licence with willingness to travel to sites.
  • Full right to work in the UK.
  • Live within commuting distance of Stratford upon Avon.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Working towards or already holding professional chartership.
