The Geotechnical Engineer Position

The successful candidate will assist with site investigations, logging and sampling soils and rock, and preparing technical documentation. Responsibilities will also include undertaking desk-based assessments, attending site visits, supporting foundation and retaining structure design work, and liaising with engineers and environmental professionals to ensure successful project delivery across Chelmsford and surrounding areas.

Requirements

  • Degree in Geology, Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related discipline
  • Previous experience within ground investigation, geotechnical, or consultancy environments
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Right to work in the UK
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Able to commute to or reside near Cambridge
