Drimlike is looking for a German Digital Copywriter & Community Manager to join our growing Edinburgh team.
Contract: Part Time or Full Time - Permanent
Profile: Junior
Salary: Based on experience
Location: Edinburgh
YOUR ROLE
You will be responsible for running one website, as part of a network of websites.
- Writing creative and SEO oriented texts on a regular basis, in line with strict content requirements.
- Translation of texts into your native language.
- Working in website backoffices to upload material and oversee forum posts.
- Working with internal teams to generate ideas for content strategies and development.
- Managing a community of users, by being active on websites, social networks and answering emails.
- Maintaining partnerships with other websites through regular email contact and sometimes initiating communication with new partners.
- Making contacts in targeted countries for business development.
The majority of your work will be in German and requires a fluent/native German speaker, however you will work in English for internal communication.
YOUR SKILLS
Essential
- Fluent/native German writer and speaker.
- Significant and demonstrable experience of copywriting for websites, PR, journalism, marketing or communication.
- Exceptional language skills; including flawless spelling, grammar and the ability to adapt content to different audiences.
- High level of competency with computers / internet / social networks.
- Good understanding of customers and market dynamics.
- Excellent organisational skills: ability to keep on top of many ongoing tasks at once and divide your time effectively between these.
- Aptitude for problem-solving and lateral thinking.
- Curiosity, and a passion for digital media.

Desired
- Preferably educated to degree level or equivalent (Communication/Marketing/Creative Writing/Journalism).
- Knowledge of SEO.
- Familiarity with Google Apps and cloud-based collaboration.
