German-Speaking Sales Executive

Launch your sales career in international events, exhibitions, and media

Job type: Full-time, office-based (37.5 hours per week)
Salary: £28,000-£35,000 plus OTE
Reporting to: Head of Sales

Join a leading international publishing and events business serving the logistics, supply chain, tolling, robotics, automation, and transport sectors. The organization delivers market-leading magazines, conferences, awards, and exhibitions across the UK, USA, Asia-Pacific, and the Middle East.

About the Role

As a German-Speaking Sales Executive, you will develop your commercial skills across events, exhibitions, and media while building relationships with clients in German-speaking and international markets. This entry-level opportunity is ideal for a recent graduate or an ambitious early-career professional who communicates confidently in both German and English, enjoys working towards targets, and wants to succeed in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.

What You’ll Do

  • Win new business and achieve sales targets across German-speaking and international markets.
  • Pitch advertising, sponsorship, exhibition, and event opportunities to prospective clients.
  • Build strong client relationships and recommend solutions that meet their commercial goals.
  • Research prospects, maintain accurate sales records, and collaborate with marketing, editorial, and events teams.

You will receive hands-on experience across media and events, with structured opportunities to build the skills and confidence needed for a successful career in sales.

What We’re Looking For

  • Fluent German is essential, with the confidence to conduct professional sales conversations and correspondence.
  • Excellent spoken and written English.
  • A bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification.
  • No previous sales experience is required; energy, enthusiasm, and a genuine interest in sales are more important.
  • Strong communication skills and a natural aptitude for persuasion and negotiation.
  • A proactive, adaptable, and self-motivated approach, with a willingness to learn.
  • A collaborative mindset and the ability to contribute positively to a team.
