About the Role

We are hiring for one of our wonderful returning families! This is a fantastic opportunity to be the next long term, well paid, nanny to a kind, caring and generous family, which is relocating back to London in August 2026. They are looking for a kind, organised and experienced, German speaking nanny to join them from September 2026 for long term. Although most of your time will be spent with the 2yr old (B&G) twins, they have four children aged 9, 7 and 2 year old twins. Both parents work in demanding roles within the software industry and are looking for someone dependable who can become a long term part of the family’s routine.

The two eldest boys currently attend an international school in Germany and will move to a Fulham day School when the family returns to London. The twins will remain at home initially before starting nursery around the age of three. The household is fully bilingual and operates a “one parent one language” approach, with the mother speaking English and the father speaking German, so a native level German speaker with fluent English is essential.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

The family are seeking a nanny with at least five years of professional experience who is confident managing a busy household with children of mixed ages. The role will include full nursery duties for the twins during the day, as well as school pick ups and after school care for the older children. Supporting homework, preparing healthy meals, organising school bags and children’s belongings, and helping to maintain a calm and structured routine will all form part of the position. The family values kindness, good manners and consistency, particularly as the eldest child benefits from clear routines and patient support.

This is a live out role based in Fulham, with working hours Monday to Friday from 8.30am to 6.30pm. The position offers a competitive London salary and 25 days of paid holiday per year. The family employs a weekly cleaner so no housekeeping is required beyond general tidying related to the children. They are looking for someone warm, reliable and collaborative who will work closely with them to help create a happy and organised home environment.
