Location: Office-based Farringdon, London
Working Pattern: Monday–Friday, 5 days per week in the office
Employment Type: Full-time
We are seeking an experienced German-Speaking Recruitment Consultant to join our growing team and take ownership of a specialist recruitment desk focused on the German market.
This is a 360° recruitment role for an established recruiter who can develop new business, manage key client relationships and deliver high-quality candidates across specialist and technical markets.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage a portfolio of clients across the German market.
- Identify and win new business through proactive sales, networking, market research and relationship building.
- Build long-term relationships with senior hiring managers and key decision-makers.
- Manage vacancies from initial client briefing through to successful placement.
- Source and headhunt high-calibre candidates using LinkedIn, databases, referrals and direct approaches.
- Build and maintain strong specialist candidate networks across Germany.
- Conduct candidate qualification, interviews and detailed suitability assessments.
- Present and shortlist candidates against technical, professional and cultural requirements.
- Manage the complete interview, feedback, negotiation and offer process.
- Handle counteroffers and successfully close placements.
- Provide clients with relevant salary, talent availability and market intelligence.
- Develop existing accounts and identify opportunities for additional business.
- Maintain accurate CRM records, activity levels and recruitment pipelines.
- Take ownership of personal revenue, placement and business-development targets.
- Develop deep market knowledge and establish a strong reputation within your specialist sector.

Requirements
- Fluent German with strong English communication skills.
- Proven experience as a Recruitment Consultant / Senior Recruitment Consultant.
- Demonstrable track record of billing, business development and successful placements.
- Strong 360° recruitment experience across both client and candidate management.
- Confident business developer with the ability to win and grow client accounts.
- Experienced in headhunting and engaging passive candidates.
- Commercially driven, resilient and motivated by achieving targets.
- Strong negotiation, communication and relationship-building skills.
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
- Comfortable working 5 days per week from the office.
