German Speaking Sales Executive
Location: Congleton, Cheshire – Hybrid
Salary: £28,000 – £32,000 DOE + Performance-Related Commission
Contract: Permanent, Full-Time
Hours: Monday–Friday, approximately 8:00am–4:00pm
We are recruiting for a German Speaking Sales Executive to join a growing international sales team within an established business based in Congleton.
This is a genuinely outbound, business development-focused position. You will be responsible for identifying and approaching prospective customers across European markets, developing new business opportunities and building long-term commercial relationships.
The Role
- Proactively prospect and identify new business opportunities
- Conduct outbound calls and outreach to prospective customers
- Develop relationships with new and existing clients across European markets
- Generate leads and build a strong sales pipeline
- Work towards individual sales and performance targets
- Research prospective customers and identify new market opportunities
- Maintain accurate records of sales activity and opportunities
- Work closely with the Business Development Manager
- Attend client meetings and trade shows across Europe
- Undertake approximately 6–8 European business trips per year

About You
- Fluent German and English are essential
- Previous experience within outbound sales, business development, telesales or a similar commercial role
- Comfortable prospecting and approaching new customers
- Confident communicating with customers over the phone and by email
- Commercially driven with a proactive approach to generating new business
- Strong relationship-building and communication skills
- Comfortable working towards targets
- Willing and able to travel within Europe several times per year
- Organised, self-motivated and comfortable working as part of a small team
