Looking for your next Workshop Controller opportunity with a strong basic salary and the chance to earn up to £55,000?

We're recruiting for an established automotive dealership in Dagenham, with a £38,000-£42,000 basic salary, OTE up to £55,000 and a 1 in 3 Saturday morning working pattern.

If you're an experienced Workshop Controller who enjoys keeping a busy operation organised and making sure the workshop runs smoothly, this could be worth a conversation.

The Opportunity

You'll play an important role in the day-to-day running of the workshop, working closely with Technicians, Service Advisors and the wider aftersales team.

It's a role where organisation, communication and the ability to keep things moving are important, particularly when the workshop gets busy.

The package offers a £38,000-£42,000 basic salary, OTE up to £55,000, with 1 in 3 Saturday mornings.

The Role

You'll help coordinate the day-to-day operation of the workshop and keep communication flowing between the workshop and the wider aftersales team.

Day To Day, This Will Involve

  • Coordinating workflow within the workshop
  • Supporting Technicians and helping keep work moving efficiently
  • Liaising with Service Advisors throughout the repair process
  • Helping manage priorities when the workshop is busy
  • Maintaining clear communication across the aftersales team
  • Helping ensure work is completed to the required standard and timescale

What We're Looking For

  • Previous experience as a Workshop Controller, or strong workshop supervisory experience
  • A good understanding of automotive workshop operations
  • Confidence coordinating Technicians and workshop activity
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • The ability to prioritise and stay calm when things get busy
  • A professional approach to customer service and quality
