Role Overview

This role will be based on the university campus with scope for it to be undertaken in a hybrid manner. We are also open to discussing flexible working arrangements.

Are you passionate about supporting young people from underrepresented groups to progress into Higher Education?

Do you have the leadership and stakeholder engagement skills needed to deliver an impactful collaborative outreach programme across a diverse regional partnership?

About Go Higher West Yorkshire (GHWY)

Go Higher West Yorkshire (GHWY) is a member-owned consortium of 13 Higher Education Providers (HE providers)/member institutions who aim to help improve the life chances of students and learners, with a focus on under-represented groups, helping them better understand the benefits of and options for HE.

We are now looking for an exceptional individual to drive the successful strategy, plans and delivery of our Uni Connect Programme in what is planned to be its final year of delivery.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
