Role Overview
Our client, a tier-one specialty global reinsurer, is looking for a Senior Actuary / Subject Matter Expert to drive their actuarial due diligence for high-profile global acquisitions.
If you are a qualified GI actuary who thrives in fast-paced deals environments, this is your chance to step into a high-visibility role with massive executive exposure.
What you’ll do
- Lead M&A Support: Spearhead end-to-end actuarial due diligence across major global transactions.
- Evaluate Risk: Apply your expertise across reserving, capital, pricing, and structuring to back robust acquisition appraisals.
- Author Deal Papers: Produce critical due diligence papers covering key valuation, capital, and reserving metrics.
- Manage Stakeholders: Act as a central bridge between underwriting teams, internal leadership, and external advisors.
- Drive Teams: Provide leadership and mentorship to ensure the team hits key objectives.

What you’ll need
- FIA/FFA Qualification (or equivalent) with deep GI reserving experience across liability lines.
- Proven M&A Track Record in transaction due diligence and/or risk-based pricing.
- Multitasking Excellence to manage multiple workstreams and deals simultaneously.
- Top-notch Communication skills to collaborate with senior executives and advisors.
- (Bonus) Strong capital experience.
