About The Team
Forvis Mazars’ Energy & Infrastructure team is a dedicated global sector team, working from our offices in London, Paris, New York, Johannesburg, Sydney, Delhi, and Pune. The team provides a mix of modelling, model audit, valuation, M&A advisory, and training services to major clients who develop, invest in, and lend to large energy and infrastructure assets around the world.
Our India-based team with offices in Pune and Gurgaon is a fully integrated part of the global team, consisting of qualified finance professionals working directly with colleagues around the world.

Within our Energy, Infrastructure & Environment team, we have a specialist valuation sub-team. This team works with leading international funds and sponsors, delivering independent valuation reports and opinions in relation to energy and infrastructure assets. The team has delivered reports relating to more than $25bn value of investments over the last couple of years.

A key part of the valuation process is support of the team that carries out the research and benchmarking and helps draft these sections of the report.
We are currently growing this team and are now seeking to bring on board a high-quality analyst/consultant who will be a crucial support for the whole team. The role covers research, benchmarking, and valuation analysis, report writing including client interactions and over time managing client contact and coordination.
About The Role
The candidate will have the experience, knowledge, and confidence required to support in the delivery of valuation reports focusing on infrastructure and energy assets.
Take the day-to-day role supporting all aspects of valuation assignments, typically with a portfolio of assignments at any one time. This includes:
- Carrying out detailed industry, capital markets, and asset-specific research.
- Analysing financial information, working with financial models, and drawing conclusions from data.
- Presenting analyses in well-written reports and presentations.
- Support in the development of client relationships through strong project delivery and business development (e.g., supporting on proposals and client pitches).
- Ensure that Forvis Mazars’ quality and risk procedures are followed in the execution of all client engagements.
What Are We Looking For
- 1 to 2 years’ experience working in either project finance, corporate finance, management consulting, project development, engineering, or infrastructure finance. A track record of working on valuations is preferred.
- Bachelor’s (or master’s degree) in Finance, Engineering, Accounting, Commerce/Business, Economics, or a closely related field with an emphasis on quantitative skills.
- CFA, ACA, ACCA, MBA, or Masters of Applied Finance, or a commitment to work towards the designation is considered a plus.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, including report writing experience.
- Ability to interpret a financial model in the infrastructure and energy sectors. Able to analyse/run scenarios on financial models.
- Knowledge of valuation concepts, with a relevant qualification being desirable but not essential.
- Strong organization, numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint), as well as experience with Capital IQ, Bloomberg, and other software/tools relevant to valuation is a plus.
- Motivated and hardworking to meet client deadlines and provide excellent client service.
- Passion to learn and be a team player.
