At United Utilities, our Geographic Information System is at the heart of how we manage, maintain and improve the water and wastewater networks that serve millions of customers every day.

We're looking for a detail focused and proactive GIS Data Maintainer to join our team. In this role, you'll play a critical part in ensuring our network records remain accurate, reliable and up to date, supporting everything from day to day operations and infrastructure investment to regulatory compliance.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Strong understanding of utility or distribution networks and how they are represented within GIS, with the ability to maintain accurate and high quality records.
  • The ability to interpret drawings and information from a variety of sources, alongside a good understanding of the drawing lifecycle.
  • Experience using systems such as Microsoft Office, SAP, INS or ICS Salesforce, Locator Hub, SharePoint and ProjectWise would be advantageous.
  • A flexible and adaptable approach, with the ability to balance priorities, meet deadlines and build effective relationships across the business.
  • Excellent planning and organisational skills, with the ability to manage workloads efficiently while maintaining a high standard of accuracy.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with a commitment to delivering high quality results and supporting team success.

What You'll Bring
