Application Support Engineer (GK POS)
Contract: 6 months
Location & Work Model: Remote UK only (occasional travel to Geneva every 3 months)
Rate: £500 per day inside IR35

Responsibilities
- Provide expert application support for critical Point of Sale (POS) systems, diagnosing and resolving complex technical issues.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely incident resolution and system stability.
- Support business-critical retail applications, maintaining high service quality and performance.
- Identify opportunities to improve system reliability, processes, and operational efficiency.
- Create and maintain technical documentation while sharing knowledge with the wider team.
About You
- Proven experience as an Application Support Engineer supporting retail applications.
- Expert knowledge of GK POS systems (essential).
- Strong understanding of retail Point of Sale environments; experience with SAP Retail POS is highly desirable.
- Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills with the ability to resolve complex production issues.
- Strong communication skills with experience working across multiple technical and business teams.
