Role Overview
Thirteen Group is looking for a skilled Glazier to join our Repairs team covering the Tees Valley Area. In this role, you will provide a high-quality glazing repair, replacement and installation service for Thirteen and its customers. You will deliver excellent customer service, work collaboratively with colleagues and residents, and help maintain our homes and properties to meet customer expectations and organisational standards.
This role is categorised as an operative role. This means that you are likely to move around from site-to-site or property-to property more often, depending on the work needed to be done. You won’t necessarily have a permanent work base as you’ll probably be able to travel from home to your site. You’ll be advised about your work location where needed.

In addition to holding the required skills linked to your base trade, you’ll be able to demonstrate your ability and/or willingness to undertake all additional skills required of a Trade Plus operative. In return, we’ll provide you with Trade Plus training.

Key Responsibilities
- Support the delivery of an effective repairs and maintenance service that meets customer expectations and organisational objectives.
- Carrying out glazing repairs, replacements and installations to a high standard within agreed timescales.
- Deliver excellent customer service and ensure services are provided in line with customer expectations and priorities.
- Contribute to our ‘TradePlus’ scheme, acquiring diverse skills to enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction.
About You
- A skilled Glazier, experienced in window fitting, window repairs, UPVC door renewals, DGU renewals.
- You must hold a NVQ Level 2 in Fenestration or equivalent trade qualification.
- Skilled in general semi-skilled works and eager to assist in various trades.
- Must possess a clean valid UK driving licence.
- Comfortable using digital devices or be willing to learn. We use mobile and hand-held devices to allocate jobs and for you to record your completion of work.
- A commitment to safe working practices and a good grasp of health and safety regulations.
